Environmental commitments


Concerned by its social and ecological environment, Croisières AML is personally committed to the accomplishment of concrete actions.

  • Respect for the regulations on marine activities in the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park;
  • Financial  and technical support for non-profit organizations supporting  Quebec’s  marine wildlife (GREMM, Fondation de la faune du Québec);
  • Involvement in the social, economic and tourist  development of the regions where it operates;
  • Minimizing the impact of the boats on the ecosystem of the river: modernizing equipment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions;
  • Development  of a system for the treatment of waste water, surpassing the norm in collaboration with Premier Tech Environnement et NAVTECH;
  • Development of a code of ethics, with Alliance Éco-Baleine, for whale watching and the respect of  the marine environment in the Saguenay-St.Lawrence Marine Park.
