On board the Louis Jolliet and the Cavalier Maxim
Given the total weight of the wheelchair combined with that of the occupant, the settings of such a chair and the lack of grip, it is not possible to embark any type of electric wheelchair on board the ships.
In order to participate in a cruise, we invite our disabled guests to be transferred to a manual wheelchair before showing up at the departure platform.
Access to the ships at all times, regardless of the tides.
Depending on the individual in question, three or four members of our crew will assist the person in moving about and in changing decks.
For the duration of the cruise, when necessary, the passenger can call upon members of our crew in the same way in order to be assisted in moving about.
Embarcation and disembarkation will be assisted by crewmembers.
Disabled passengers not requiring the use of a wheelchair
Access to the ships at all times;
Assistance from the crewmembers from their arrival at footbridge or before, depending on the passengers needs.
