Price, cancellation and reimbursement policies

Croisières AML

 

All cancellations must be made by mail, e-mail, telephone or in person.

 

Cancellation fees correspond to 100% of deposit received. Reimbursements or transfers to a third party, are not accepted. Prices, schedules, boat and itinerary are subject to change without notice. If there is a discrepancy between the prices advertised in different publications and those appearing on the documents produced this year by Croisières AML, the latter will prevail.

 

For security reasons, Croisières AML reserves the right to prohibit access to their boat(s) only to those who, according to the officer in charge, are not capable of taking the cruise.


 

Ticket purchase policy

 

In accepting a ticket, the passenger acknowledges and accepts that the cruise provided by the carrier (Croisières AML) involves the risk of material and bodily injury, both of which are particularly related to navigation and weather conditions. The passenger assumes all risks of loss, injury or damage to the person or property while on the vessel or while embarking or disembarking. The passenger agrees to hold harmless, for any and all claims, the carrier, its employees, agents and mandatories.

 

Subject to the following conditions, cruise tickets are non-refundable. However, the departure date may be changed to a later date (availability and capacity permitting), except in the case of tickets for cruises aboard zodiacs or for special cruises and events (e.g., fireworks cruises).

 

If Croisières AML cancels the event owing to force majeure or because holding the event would be unsafe, illegal or impossible, Croisières AML's responsibility shall be limited to reimbursing the amount received (excluding service charges).

 

If a ticket is issued for an event involving an activity (e.g., Loto-Québec Fireworks) and the activity is cancelled or postponed, the cruise will take place and reimbursement, if any, shall be limited to the portion of the price associated with the activity so that the portion of the price associated with the cruise and the service charges shall be retained by Croisières AML.

 

If a ticket is issued for an event for which Croisières AML is not the promoter, Croisières AML shall not assume any liability if, among other things, the event is cancelled or postponed. The passenger therefore agrees to hold harmless, for any and all claims, the carrier, its employees, agents and mandatories.

 

Croisières AML shall not assume any liability for inconveniences caused by delays.

 

Croisières AML shall not be liable for the loss or theft of objects or luggage aboard the boat.

 

By accepting a ticket, the holder accepts all the conditions stipulated above and all the conditions stipulated on the ticket.


 

Voyages AML

 

Payment

 

Full payment must be received at the time of booking. Unpaid reservations will be automatically cancelled. Voyages AML accepts payments by credit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard).

 

Travel documents

 

At the time of booking, Voyages AML will send an invoice by email or regular mail, as well as all additional information needed to benefit from the services included in your package. The client’s invoice must be shown at the pier in order to pick up the cruise tickets and other documents.

 

Voyages AML is not responsible for lost or stolen documents.

 

Clients and travel agents are required to inform Voyages AML at least 7 days prior to departure if the travel documents have not yet been received.

 

Cancellation

 

The package is non-refundable and may not be transferred to another person, nor moved to another date. Cancellation fees represent 100% of the total package cost per person, including taxes and service charges. A cancellation letter must be sent to Voyages AML prior to the departure date.

 

Travel insurance

 

We strongly recommend that our clients purchase cancellation/interruption travel insurance to protect against sickness, injury or any other unforeseen circumstance that could lead to cancellation of the trip.

 

Responsibility

 

In the event that Voyages AML or one of its suppliers cancels part of the services owing to force majeure, because holding the event would be unsafe, illegal or impossible, or for any other reason, provided that Voyages AML gives clients at least 7 days' prior notice, Voyages AML will reimburse all sums paid by clients who are affected by the cancellation.

 

Voyages AML does not assume liability for inconveniences caused by delays beyond its control.

 

Voyages AML shall not be liable for the loss of, damage to or theft of objects or luggage aboard its ships or other means of transportation unless resulting from the actions of a Voyages AML representative.

 

Children

 

Adults are responsible for supervising children travelling with them, both on board and on the piers.

 

Pets

 

Voyages AML does not allow pets.

 

Admission

 

Should a passenger conduct him/herself in a manner that is detrimental to other passengers, Voyages AML reserves the right to refuse boarding to such client because of his/her behaviour, without a refund or other compensation. In such a case, the passenger is responsible for all costs resulting from his/her behaviour.
