Transportation Tickets
For any questions regarding refunds and cancellations, please refer to the Politique relative aux remboursements et aux échanges de titres de transport issued by the Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM).
Please note that cash payments are not accepted at our ticket counters or on board our vessels. Only debit and credit card payments are accepted.
It is possible to change the time or date of your trip directly with us prior to departure. Three options are available to make this change:
In person: Visit one of our ticket counters.
By phone: Contact us at 1 (855) 461-4766.
By email: Send a detailed request to info@navettesfluviales.com, including your confirmation number.
Vessel Schedules and Departures
Schedules, vessels, and routes are subject to change without notice. Navettes Maritimes du Saint-Laurent (“Navettes Maritimes”) offers no compensation for any inconvenience or loss of time resulting from such changes.
Navettes Maritimes may cancel or reschedule a trip in cases of force majeure or for safety reasons. Navettes Maritimes assumes no liability related to the postponement or cancellation of a trip.
Boarding Conditions – Safety and Liability
If a passenger exhibits behaviour that may be harmful to other passengers or crew members, or unsafe for themselves, Navettes Maritimes reserves the right to deny boarding due to such behaviour (including intoxication, aggression, physical or verbal threats, or other inappropriate conduct), without compensation. The passenger shall assume full responsibility for any costs incurred as a result of their conduct.
By accepting this ticket, the passenger acknowledges and accepts that transportation services provided by Navettes Maritimes involve certain risks of material, physical, and moral harm, particularly those related to navigation and weather conditions. The passenger accepts all risks of material, physical, or moral harm that may occur at any time on board the vessel, including during boarding and disembarkation.
The passenger acknowledges having had the opportunity to ask Navettes Maritimes any questions regarding these risks and confirms satisfaction with the responses received. The passenger waives any claim against Navettes Maritimes, its directors, officers, employees, and agents for any damages arising from these inherent risks, unless such damages result from the personal fault of a representative of Navettes Maritimes. Maritimes.
Safety: For safety reasons, all vessels are nonsmoking.
Transportation of Personal Belongings
It is strictly prohibited to transport gasoline, explosives, firearms, compressed gas cylinders, chemicals, or any other substances deemed dangerous on board our vessels. Crew members may refuse boarding to any person carrying such items.
Passengers are responsible at all times for supervising their belongings and luggage on board the vessel and assume all risks of theft or loss.
If you are travelling with a bicycle, it must be stored in the designated racks during transport.
If you are travelling with a scooter or any similar personal mobility device, it must be safely secured during transport, and all instructions issued by crew members must be followed.
Animals
Pets are not permitted on board the vessels. Only service dogs are accepted.
Persons with Disabilities
If you are a person with a disability, please inform our ticketing staff. They will be able to assist you in accessing the vessel.
ARTM Specific Conditions
The Règlement sur les conditions au regard de la possession et de l’utilisation des titres de transport de l’ARTM applies hereto as if fully incorporated herein. In the event of any discrepancy between these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and those of the ARTM, the ARTM conditions shall prevail.
