How long are the coach ride and the whale watching tour?
The coach ride between Quebec City and Baie-Sainte-Catherine takes approximately 3 hours each way. Once there, the whale watching tour by boat begins at 1 p.m. and lasts approximately 3 hours. Including the return trip, the excursion generally ends with an arrival back in Quebec City around 7 p.m.

What is the price of the excursion?
Rates start at $199.99 per adult (ages 13 and up) and $169.99 per child (ages 0 to 12). Prices may vary depending on the selected date, and taxes are not included.

What happens if no whales are spotted during the tour?
The Whale Warranty applies: if the ship's captain determines that no marine mammals were observed during the tour, Croisières AML will issue a pass for another whale watching boat tour. Please note that this pass covers only the tour portion of the excursion (coach transportation is not included). Refer to the terms and conditions for more information.

Is a meal included during this excursion?
No meals are included during this excursion, but a lunch box is available on site or by pre-order for $26.99 plus taxes. You may also bring snacks on the coach; however, outside food and beverages are not permitted aboard the whale watching tour. We therefore recommend planning your meal before or after the tour, or opting for the lunch box.
