This full-day excursion includes round-trip transportation by luxury coach to Baie-Sainte-Catherine, in the Charlevoix region. Once there, you will board a Zodiac and observe marine mammals in the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park, the best whale watching site in the world.

The excursion departs from Fontaine de Tourny, in front of Quebec City's Parliament Building, at 9 a.m. We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the coach departure.

How long are the coach ride and the whale watching Zodiac tour?
The coach ride between Quebec City and Baie-Sainte-Catherine takes approximately 3 hours each way. Once there, the whale watching Zodiac tour begins at 1:30 p.m. and lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Including the return trip, the excursion ends with an arrival back in Quebec City around 7 p.m.

Rates start at $199.99 per adult (ages 13 and up) and $169.99 per child (ages 6 to 12). Prices may vary depending on the selected date, and taxes are not included.

Can children participate in this excursion?
For safety reasons, children under the age of 6 are not permitted aboard the Zodiac. For younger children, we recommend choosing the whale watching boat tour.

What happens if no whales are spotted?
Croisières AML's Whale Warranty applies. If the captain confirms that no marine mammals were observed during the tour, you will receive a pass to return for another whale watching tour. Please note that this pass is valid for a new whale watching tour aboard an observation boat (not a Zodiac). Coach transportation is also not included in the warranty.

Is a meal included during this excursion?
No meals are included during this excursion, but a lunch box is available on site or by pre-order for $26.99 plus taxes. You may also bring snacks on the coach; however, no food or beverages are permitted aboard the Zodiac. We therefore recommend planning your meal before or after the cruise, or opting for the lunch box.
