As you approach Tadoussac, you'll discover the best whale watching site in the world, where you can spot up to 13 species of marine mammals in a spectacular natural setting. The 2026 season has been outstanding so far, with frequent and impressive whale sightings. Then, enjoy your evening exploring the charm and authenticity of one of Quebec’s most beautiful villages.
On board, a variety of activities and entertainment will enhance your journey, making it as enriching as it is enjoyable. A navigation workshop, a fascinating talk about the giants of the St. Lawrence, and a tasting of Quebec wines from Cassis Monna & Filles are just a few of the memorable experiences awaiting you. This two-day getaway promises a complete immersion in some of Quebec’s most breathtaking scenery!
Day 1
6:30 a.m.: Boarding aboard the AML Cavalier Maxim and brunch served on board
7:30 a.m.: Cruise departure
Morning: Meet the Giants of the St. Lawrence talk and The Great St. Lawrence Quiz
Noon: Three-course gourmet lunch
Afternoon: Dedicated whale watching period, with interpretation provided by our naturalist guide
2:00 p.m.: Cassis Monna & Filles wine tasting
3:00 p.m.: Navigation on the St. Lawrence River workshop
5:00 p.m.: Arrival in Tadoussac (free time to enjoy the village, dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Tadoussac*)
Day 2
6:30 a.m.: Shuttle from the hotel to the AML Cavalier Maxim, boarding and brunch served on board
7:30 a.m.: Cruise departure and excursion into the Saguenay Fjord
Morning: Introduction to Birdwatching workshop and bingo
Noon: Three-course gourmet lunch
Afternoon: Cassis Monna & Filles wine tasting and nautical chart interpretation workshop
5:00 p.m.: Arrival in Quebec City
