Whale Guarantee: Our sighting rate is extremely high. However, as the marine park is a natural environment, marine mammals can sometimes be more elusive. No worries! If no whales are seen during your tour, we’ll invite you back for another whale watching boat cruise, free of charge.

Black Bear Observation

Guided Bear Observation: About a 10-minute drive from the whale watching site in Tadoussac, Domaine de l'ours noir offers a 2-hour tour to observe the black bear. Follow an experienced guide into the forest at dusk to admire this impressive animal in its natural habitat.

Safe Observation: Admire the black bear from a sheltered observation post deep in the forest, offering a clear view across the valley, approximately 40 metres away. Bears roam freely in their natural habitat and can sometimes be elusive, but the chances of spotting one reach up to 95%!

Expert Bilingual Guide: Your bilingual guide will reveal the secrets of this fascinating and curious animal. Learn more about its way of life, behaviour, and the conservation efforts put in place to ensure its protection.

Wildlife Sanctuary: This combo also includes an access to Ferme 5 Étoiles' wildlife sanctuary, located about 10 minutes from the Domaine. There, you can get close to a wide variety of rescued animals, including bison, deer, lynx, wolves, moose, and many other species.

As the bear observation tour takes place at dusk for optimal sightings, the schedule can vary between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m., depending on the date booked. You will receive a confirmation email with your exact tour time within 1–2 days of booking.
