Whale Warranty: Our sighting rate is extremely high. However, as the marine park is a natural environment, marine mammals can sometimes be more elusive. No worries! If no whales are seen during your tour, we’ll invite you back for another whale watching boat cruise, free of charge.

Black Bear Observation

Guided Bear Watching: Just a 10-minute drive from Tadoussac, Domaine de l'ours noir offers a unique 2-hour excursion to observe the black bear. Accompanied by an experienced guide, venture into the forest at dusk to witness this impressive animal in its natural habitat.

Safe Observation: From a sheltered observation post in the forest, located about 40 metres away, you can admire the black bear as it roams freely in its environment. While these animals can sometimes be elusive, there’s a 95% chance of spotting one!

Expert Bilingual Guide: Your bilingual guide will share fascinating insights about black bears—their lifestyle, behaviour, and the conservation efforts in place to protect them.

Wildlife Sanctuary: With this combo, you also have access to Ferme 5 Étoiles' wildlife sanctuary, located about 10 minutes from the Domaine. There, you will discover a wide variety of rescued Quebec wildlife, including bison, deer, lynx, wolves, moose, and many other species.

Since the bear observation occurs at dusk to maximize sighting chances, the schedule may vary between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., depending on the booking date. You will receive a confirmation email with the exact time of your visit within 1 to 2 days after booking.
