Old Port, Saint Helen's Island and Longueuil River Shuttles

Avoid city traffic and hop on a river shuttle — by bike, skates or on foot — to get between the Old Port of Montreal, Île Sainte-Hélène (Parc Jean-Drapeau) and Longueuil. An eco-friendly, economical alternative to the bridge and the fastest way to reach Parc Jean-Drapeau on summer weekends. Operated by Navark in partnership with Croisières AML, within the ARTM framework.
2026-2026 Season
Regular season runs from May 22 to September 7, seven days a week. The Express route (Old Port ↔ Île Sainte-Hélène) operates Saturdays, Sundays and holidays in high season. Special Grand Prix and Osheaga service (Line N5) during major events at Île Sainte-Hélène. Reservation required for all crossings.

- Line N4 – Regular route: Old Port ↔ Île Sainte-Hélène ↔ Longueuil. Hourly departures in both directions.
- Line N5 – Express route: Old Port ↔ Île Sainte-Hélène, departures every 30 minutes on weekends and holidays.

Boarding points
- Old Port of Montreal: Jacques-Cartier Pier, 155 quai d'accostage, across from Place Jacques-Cartier.
- Île Sainte-Hélène (Parc Jean-Drapeau): Parc Jean-Drapeau landing stage, near Pavillon des Baigneurs and La Ronde parking lot, Einstein Avenue.
- Longueuil: Longueuil Marina (Marina Réal-Bouvier), near Parc Marie-Victorin. Pedestrian and cyclist access via the footbridges and Chemin de la Rive. Parking available.

Our boats
The river shuttle fleet is made up of the Tandem and Transit vessels, designed for fast and comfortable service on the St. Lawrence River. Capacity around 48 passengers per shuttle. Dedicated spaces for bikes and people with reduced mobility. No motorized vehicles.
Bikes and bike paths
The river shuttles are part of Greater Montreal's cycling network. From the Old Port, connect to Route Verte #5 (along the St. Lawrence), Route Verte #1 (north-south axis) or the Lachine Canal bike path (11.5 km). At Île Sainte-Hélène, enjoy three Parc Jean-Drapeau trails totaling 15 km: Gilles-Villeneuve circuit, Olympic Basin loop and Floralies Gardens trail. At Longueuil, continue on Vélo Route #1 or La Riveraine.
Accessibility and safety
Shuttles welcome pedestrians, cyclists and skaters. Reserved spaces for people with reduced mobility (see our accessibility criteria). All vessels and officers are fully certified by Transport Canada and Transport Quebec for a safe experience. Guide dogs welcome; other dogs are not allowed on board.
